Study of Lipid Parameters in Subclinical Hypothyroidism
نویسندگان
چکیده
Introduction: The Diagnosis of subclinical hypothyroidism is mostly biochemical as most the patients have aserum TSH above normal and serum free total T4 T3 are normal. Due to recent increasing prevalenceof sub-clinical metabolic risk factors such adverse cardiac function hyperlipidemia, itrecommended importance screening by assessment TSH.Aims: To assess lipid profile in diagnosed with hypothyroidismMethods Materials: This study a hospital based cross sectional comprised 96 subjectsperformed Chalmeda Anandrao Institute Medical Sciences. Patients presenting OPD vague complaintsof selected. They screened for doing fasting TFT comprisingfreeT4, freeT3 also done patient. Laboratory analysis blood urea, serum creatinine done. Results: A Total number were studied, majority them between age group 46 55 years. The BMI distribution among SCH has no correlation levels.Prevalence more common women.TSH values range from minimum 5.8 mIU/l maximum 25mIU/l.Hypercholesterolemia was found 40.6% patients. LDL elevated 42.7% cases. Triglyceride waselevated only 27.1%. HDL be 66.7% cases. Conclusion: Our concludes that there significant elevations cholesterol insubclinical hypothyroidism. There much changes triglycerides levels.

Alteration of Lipid Parameters in Patients With Subclinical Hypothyroidism
BACKGROUND Overt hypothyroidism is associated with abnormalities of lipid metabolism, but conflicting results regarding the degree of lipid changes in subclinical hypothyroidism (SCH) exist. OBJECTIVES The aim of this study was to assess differences in lipid profile parameters between subjects with and without SCH in a north Indian population. PATIENTS AND METHODS Serum lipid parameters of ...

Backgrounds: Thyroid hormones play an important physiological role in human metabolism. Erythrocyte abnormalities are frequently associated with thyroid disorder. However, they are rarely investigated and related to the subclinical and primary hypothyroidism in Kashmiri Patients. In this study an attempt was made to study hematological parameters in untreated and treated subclinical hypothyroi...

BACKGROUND Previous studies yielded controversial results about the alteration of lipid profiles in patients with subclinical hypothyroidism. We performed a meta-analysis to investigate the association between subclinical hypothyroidism and lipid profiles. متن کاملLipid profile in subclinical hypothyroidism: is L-thyroxine substitution beneficial?
OBJECTIVE The significance of dyslipidemia in subclinical hypothyroidism (SH) and the effect of thyroid substitution on lipids remain controversial. The present study aimed to assess the association of SH with lipid abnormalities and to quantify the effect of L-thyroxine therapy on serum lipid profiles. DESIGN Serum lipid parameters of 66 patients with SH and 75 age- and sex-matched euthyroid...
